Mel Hood is a wonderful, mature jazz singer. He worked the "chitlin' circuit" as a young man, eventually landing at the Jersey Shore. He is the owner of the legendary Jazz & Blues Club "Jasons" in Belmar, New Jersey. Mel has long been regarded as one of the "true voices" of Jazz and Blues - in New Jersey or anywhere! |
