Artist History
After a five or six year stint in professional east coast copy bands, JaeCyber (aka Joe Newton) moved to Los Angeles, California to compose, perform & produce original music. As MIDI, SMPTE & Digital technologies began changing how music was created, recorded & distributed, he opened a computer-based, pre-production studio in Encino, California. During this period he formed and performed with three original music bands: Lost & Found, Prophecy, and its successor, Strategy. Over the next several years they performed regularly at Los Angeles' most popular original music venues including: The Troubadour; Madame Wong's West; FM Station; The Central; Blue Lagoon Saloon; HopSingh's; At My Place; Club 88 & the LASS. In the last several years, JaeCyber's primary music outlet has been the internet. A JAECYBER 2001 CD is currently under production. It will consist of all-new original songs composed, produced & released later in the year. JaeCyber (aka Joe Newton) is a member of Broadcast Music, Inc (BMI); American Federation of Musicians (AFM Local 47) & Screen Actors Guild (SAG). |
