Artist description Gianni Del Popolo is a producer and musician whose activity takes pIace in different recording studios in Rome. He produces only what inspires him, without following any fashion nor genre, but only keeping in mind his own creative personality and projects. Amongst his productions and musical projects, he spaces from ska-reggae to acid-jazz from soul to hip-hop, from italian pop to World Music without forgetting various experiments in Ethnjc Music. Some of the records produced are "At Last" by Strange Fruit on Klang Records - "One" by Gazzara on Irma Records / Sony Distribution - Deep Inside" by Michael Allen on Irma Records /Sony Distribution - "Costellazione del Tauro" by Tauro, an independent release - "Living Sin" a cover of Emerson, Lake and Palmer's famous hit on Mellow Records. His work has brought him to cooperate with, amongst others: High Spirits for,"Heaven Sent Christmas", independent release - Michele Ascolese for "Ondabuena Hotel" on Benvenuti Records and many more small productions and musical experiments. The working method generally varies according to the need, but he mainly merges real live instruments with midi sounds and hard-disk recording, that allows him to exploit the writing and production creativity to the maximum level, up to the mixing session. In this period, he is working on various new projects which will soon be released on this site. Enjoy the sound. This site is dedicated to Fabio, who left us too early, and that, with his ideas, could have improved this musical universe. He is however, traveling towards unknown destinations without limits nor boundaries. We can stjll hear and listen to his voice ... alI you have to do to call him a little louder.
