Artist description
I am influenced by the musical culture of Denmark. I write songs which tell about growing up in a spiritually warm and friendly neigbourhood in the middle of Copenhagen in the late sixties. My songs also reflect the experience of returning to Denmark in the nineties. I write all my own music and try to play all the recorded instruments myself.I like my music to make people happy. On this CD, I have help from Steve Emerson on Cello and Martin Zwick playing the Mandolin. It's my hope that you will get a feel for Danish humor and culture by listening. The photo on the cover of my CD "Hjemkomst," shows the hills at Dronninglund Storskov in Jylland, close to the home of my best friends. |
