Artist description
The year was 1995, and Breakbeat was just gaining popularity in the U.S. A young DJ, by the name of Moon, decides that it is time to create the music he has dreamt about for years. Always a lover of Electro, Miami Bass, and early Techno, he decides that Breakbeat will be his direction. Armed with only a synth, a drum machine, and an 8 bit sampler, he layed the foundation for what would become an obsession. Moon produced two tracks (Satisfied & Hot Love), that were played heavily on South Louisiana radio mix shows. People were just getting a taste of what was to come. Moon has produced many originals and remixes for record labels across the country. He has done remixes for Groove Armada, The Electroliners (Jim Hopkins & DJ Dan), and many artists in the Southeast Breakbeat scene. Moon is also spending more time on the road, promoting his label and music across the U.S. He also is working on many new tracks and remixes, that you are sure to hear on a dance floor in a town near you. |
