Artist History
Turfreaker (Tony Lee) started as a techno-artist back in 1999.
He was producing his own kind of techno-music.
He was able to make 3 albums during these years.
Vet Ej (1999), Ont Om Tid (2000), and "Huset" at the end of the summer 2000.
At the end of the year 2000 he wanted to start with something new,
So he decided to make something that everybody could listen to.
He started to produce euro-dance music and finally find a female singer and a rapper.
He took Yasir and Linda as members in the group. Together there made 2 singles "Watch Me Now" and "Do You Feel The Base". Later on the summer their album "Din Tur Nu" was finally finished.. But at the same time Yasir and Linda decides to leave the group..
Tony decided now to become a solo-artist like (E-type). He wanted to also make some pop songs to. In some songs he use female-vocals from different singers. In october 2001 he releases his first new single "Wanna Get Freaky" from a new album that he is working with. The single is still actual and he's right now performing in different clubs/places in Uppsala. He's album "Get Freaky" will be released during winter/christmas. |
