Artist History The band first got together in a studio in Worthing. Jim and Ru had been working together writing and arranging and decided to create an ensemble to complement Ru's songs. Taking on Joe the drummer and Alex the guitarist, Jim and Ru had found the right combination of melodic sophistication and raw groove. The missing component, Mark, was found in the depths of Brighton's Sanctuary cafe' by Ru and blew the rest of the band away at his audition. Rehearsals moved to Brighton where Jim quickly established himself as M.D. and drove the band through a year of hard graft developing a uniquely funky yet mellow sound to support Ru's insightful lyrics and uplifting melodies.Having parted ways with Alex, the band has recently been joined by the talented Dave Page on electric guitar.
