Artist description
Project 2012 is a symbol of these dread times. Shatta-I produces light and beauty for the masses to groove to. This creative MC/percussionist goes from spittin’ dancehall lyrics to evolutionary conscious rap and back to Roots Reggae, all over seamlesslyl blended beats with XicanIndio flavor. These collaborative tracks prove that D-town don't play when it comes to puttin' soul in the message in the music. Artists such as DJ Chonz, Brutha Los from A Company of Prophets, and Julian B.(Muskogee) are featured on tracks so fly you won't catch them the first time - you'll have to come back again to get the full impact! Babylon can't stop the power and knowledge of love that honors the dreams and desires of the ancestos and youth. The year 2012 marks the beginning of the real millennium, according to indigenous calendars that are more accurate than the Gregorian. We ARE in the time of great Earth changes, and peace is on the horizon. In order to evolve, we must heal each other and step into the light of humanity and one love. May Project 2012 stand as a lasting symbol of a timeless vision....HANG ON IN DEH! |
