Artist description Salsa-band ¡SABROSO! is a ten man formation of a widely diverse set of individuals, but there is at least one thing that binds us together: a great passion for Salsa! The classic 'son/montuno' forms the basis of our works but other styles like 'merengue', 'bomba' and 'cumbia' are also well represented.The power of our band is the great fun we always have during gigs. It gives us and the people we play for, a lot of pleasure.

Artist History SABROSO started as a "workshop"-band. Over the years we became more serious and started on our own.Some of the musicians who shaped this band during that time have been: Jaime Rodriguez, Jan-Luc van Eendenburg, Leslie Lopez, Lucas van Merwijk and even Larry Harlow! They hugely contributed to the growth and development of the band, and helped us establish a wide reportoire.The past 5 years our band has held many performances, open air ones; as in Edam and Amsterdam ("Salsa on the Canals", Oosterpark-Festival), as well as in Akhnaton, Muiderpoorttheater, salsa-dance studios throughout the country and in the NCRV studio for a live radio show. On top of all this the band played at numerous parties such as weddings and receptions.
