Artist History Odyssey 8 first formed in 1996. The line up was David McCants, Alan Woodward, and Joseph Mounts, and occassionaly Bobby Johnson. The band took its name from an Joseph's old telescope that sat in the shed they played and recorded in. The band has appeared under the name "McCants Band" at various times.
