Artist History
KYLE BRADFORD, tenor, appears as a frequent concert soloist in the Mid-Atlantic region. He has even ventured into the world of classical music satire and PDQ Bach, which he performed recently with Professor Peter Schickele. He holds a Master of Music in Voice, with Distinction, from the New England Conservatory of Music, and has been awarded a Professional Studies Certificate in Opera Performance from Temple University. Kyle has performed with opera companies in Boston and Philadelphia, appearing most notably in the roles of “Rodolfo” in La Boheme, “Lysander” in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, “Don Ramiro” (the Prince) in La Cenerentola, and in the title role of Cavalli’s L’Egisto. His oratorio repertoire encompasses the works of Bach, Handel, Mendelssohn, and Haydn. Crossing over into the musical theatre venue, Kyle has been seen most recently in the roles of "The Padre" in Man of La Mancha, "Enoch Snow" in Carousel, and as "Frederic" in The Pirates of Penzance with the Savoy Company in Philadelphia. Currently, Kyle is involved in the production of a new musical theatre work entitled Stand By the River (www.mp3.com/StandByTheRiver), a story about the father of the Underground Railroad, Philadelphian William Still. Originally from Indianapolis, Kyle resides near Philadelphia with his wife, a talented actress, and son, an aspiring artist. |
