Artist History
Jason Roe was schooled in piano & voice from the early age of 5. He had the opportunity to sample dozens of instruments throughout his school years and eventually realized he could play by ear. At 12 he discovered guitar to be his most expressive instrument. In order to fully explore and craft his natural musical ability, he earned a sound engineering degree from Columbia College in Chicago. After moving to L.A. and several years of playing local clubs, he founded Napping Monk Productions.
This current set of songs follow up his self-titled, self-produced CD which debuted in 2001. With a passion for the art of recording Jason Roe uses the NMP project studio like an instrument to develop his own vision as well as a vehicle to collaborate with other artists.
Currently, he is rehearsing with his band for performances throughout 2003. an innovative songwriter and experienced performer, Jason Roe is a career artist, dedicated to his craft and his audience.
