Artist History Around year of 1979:4 guys had agoal, to conquer the world of rockīnīroll and become stars. We started out with basically nothing, no instruments or equipment. What we did have was a burning ambition to create great hard rock tunes. our role models were bands from the NWoBHM, such as DIO, Def Leppard, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and early Bon Jovi.The 80īs:Years went by and fame came with it. We started to play at youth centers all over town, building up quite a reputation as a good liveact. We had a faithful crowd following us on local tours. we went into the studio, recorded a fivepiece demo and got ourselves some airtime. Future Zone participated in competitions. Though the music was highly appriciated, the band never made it to the top. Local press wrote some positive reviews and we felt success coming closer. BUT...Different problems occured, such as keeping a permanent bassplayer. we had to spend too much time rehearsing instead of being on the road. New material therefore shine with itīs abscense. And before we knew it, time had ran out on us. Heavy metal went from burning hot to cold as ice.Late 80īs to early 90īs:The following years we tried to break new ground, playing in separate bands. Years leaving no lasting impressions on the musical scene.Blood is thicker than water, and in the early 80īs FZ reunited. We couldnīt imagine a world without HM, and we knew all the time that this genre once again should face the glorius days, and now itīs clear....HM is back !!!Present time:Today itīs only two of us left in search for the FUTURE ZONE, the place where people care about each other...Tommy Silfvenius & Thomas Ragnarsson
