Artist History dj 4est started making electronic music in 1988 when he took a MIDI sequencing class at his performing arts high school. After ultimately recieveing a full scholarship to FSU for trumpetperformance he decided that classical, acoustic, music was not his focus. In 1994 he discovered the sound of underground dance music, in TampaFlorida. In 95 he went to Atlanta, studied studiorecording and became absolutely dedicated to theunderground dance music movement. He became a devout practicioner of the art of turntablism.but more importantly was involved in the production of this music.In 97 he began to study computer science at the University of West Florida. Slowly, as he becamemore technologically agile, the computer's role increased in his music production. After graduating in 2000 and adventuring since thendj 4est is a full scale computer-music-geek.
