Artist History DEFORM'D in the year 2000, DEFORM NATION is the direct result of Singer, STRaiN, and guitarist, J, from the break up of "Dead Nervous System" (Check out: /artists/37/dead_nervous_system.html). They enlisted drummer, CHRIS, from the defunct band "UNDERCORE", and bassist, JEFF, from defunct band "CRANKCASE". Although their former bands were in the hardcore-death metal realm, DEFORM NATION is nothing like that. DEFROM NATION is a more mature band for these guys and they have been expanding their musical horizons to meet a new standard for today's listeners. DEFORM NATION is already gaining a large fan base due to the member's involvement and exposure in their former bands. Mandaddy from GARGAMEL! has said, "DEFORM NATION is VOIVOD 2000". DEFORM NATION has the music and the artwork to support it! The singer, STRaiN, is a graduate from the School of Visual Arts, in N.Y.C., check out the CD cover.
