Artist History
The Grimard Sisters started out with classical training in piano and voice. The sisters always excelled in their musical endevours: performing in plays, singing at hockey games and competing in local festivals. Drawn to the freedom of popular music, Terra and Carly began writing and performing as a duo. Raul Alcantara and Kris Ruston have joined the sisters to create a four piece band. Terra is the 2000 winner of the Women Rock scholarship, a Vancouver based organization that raises money for young women pursuing a career in music. The sisters are currently working on an album and are planning a small tour for july 2001. |
