Artist History
Scott Chadwick, aka SMC has been producing a variety of hip hop artists since 1996. As a DJ, DJ SMC has worked with live bands, including cutting edge praise and worship teams and Christian music artists Hyperstatic Union. Stephanie Bock, aka DVA (coined by Scott and short for Diva) has been singing heartfelt and soulful music in chruch since college. Stephanie and Scott met in late 1999 and discovered their similar passion for music. Scott had been praying for someone to work with on a project - someone that had a similar vision for taking Christian music to a new level. At the same time, Stephanie was discovering that singing was as necessary to her as breathing and that her dream was to write and create music. For the last year, Scott and Stephanie have been in the studio combining their creativity into new music with the goal of releasing a compilation CD that honors God and challenges people to think. |
