Artist description
I'm too new to this to come up with a description of my music. I guess a prediction would be more in order. My guess is that as tracks accumulate here, they will be in the vein of my heroes from Sweden and Detroit. Hopefully though, as I learn the nuances of my software, a more original, less derivative rubik will emerge. No matter what, though, you can count on hearing some form of techno. |

Artist History
I'm a 24 year old audio geek from California, but I'm currently living and studying in Uppsala, Sweden. I came here hoping to be surrounded by awesome music from the likes of my Swedish heroes, but alas, Britney Spears rules the mass consciousness in Sweden with the same iron grip as in the States. I've been into electronic music since I was about 14 years old. Back then, I was into 70's progressive rock - I became fascinated by the sound of the minimoog. I got my first keyboard, a Sequential Pro-One around this time. This led to a major obsession with gear. I ended up focusing more on gear than with actually making music. This obsession lasted a long time. I discovered raving in '95, and with it, DJing. Buying records became my new addiction, effectively replacing the gear obsession. I sold my whole kit to get records. I spun a few times at house parties, a rave (in which I bombed), and at a club called Intersekt in San Fransisco. When I decided to come to Sweden, I couldn't take my tables and records with me, so I turned to software for the expression of my musical nature. The songs on this site are the first fruits of my efforts. I hope you enjoy them! Any comments, criticisms, etc. would be greatly appreciated. |
