Press Reviews A minimalist approach to the genuine R & B form. Very Funky without a lot of frills. Nicely set up intro, Nice Breathy edgy vocal. interesting stacatto phrasing, Strong Chorus. Lyrically succinct; Sort of reminds me of a Quincy Jones look at things. Good keyboard Breaks, again understated. I'd like to do create some backgrounds for those cool implied harmony lines. Tricky Nice Percussive bass line. Very direct and open Lyrics. I Believe what he's singing. One can only guess what Rich would do with a whole band, but if he stayed true to this sketch, everything would be just fine.
