Artist History Prior was started when Ricky and Jon decided that it would be nice to learn how to play guitar. They would jam at each other's houses every once in awhile and they both took lessons. Soon after, Ricky's brother, Ryan, decided that he would take up bass guitar. All three would now jam together. There was only one thing missing: a drummer. After playing with many drummers, the members of the not yet completed Prior realized how hard it was to find a good drummer. One day while in a lunch line at school, Jon saw someone (Jordan) put drumsticks into his backpack. He asked Jordan if he was in a band, and he said no. Soon after, all four members had their first practice at Jordan's house. All four sounded really tight and Jordan was by far the best drummer that Ricky, Ryan, and Jon had played with. Finally, Prior was completed. Ricky (17), Jon (17), and Jordan (16) are all Juniors at Western High School, and Ryan is an 9th grader (15) at Western.
