Artist description Psylence is an upcoming trance producer here in the Sacramento rave scene and soon hopefully worldwide. Currently Mez is in a duo with his partner Phokus, in which they perform as Alternate Realm alongside their live keyboardist, Emcaidra. Also Alternate Realm Productions have started a record label called Nu-Tron Records. Look out for the future.

Musical Influences Shiva Chandra, Hallucinogen, Oliver Lieb, Etnica, Infected Mushroom, XDream, Spiraliens, Dark Soho, Juno Reactor, Orbital is the best, the first electronic music I found (Insides), Robert Miles simple, but great, ATB, Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method, Komakino, Psychaos, Green Nuns of the Revolution, Growling Mad Scientists, Dr. Octogon (Kool Keith), The Automator, SUN Project, The Liberators, All the shit that Mars and Mystre used to play back in the days, Dan the Drummer, and I know there are more influences out there, but too hard to list them all out. . .

Similar Artists Hmm. . . . a cross between Nostrum, Oliver Lieb, Infected Muchroom, and Etnica maybe with a twist of Dark Soho. . . who knows I pretty much sound like Mez. . .

Artist History Psylence has been producing trance since the summer of 1999. His love for the scene began in 1997 when he went to his first party called Forest Moon up in the Sierras. As time passed he felt that it was time to contribute something to the scene. He was left with two choices: become a DJ or produce, he chose to produce for many reasons, but the main reason was to create and perform music in its purest form. Look out for Mez, he is going to enlighten your soul with his deep and intense sound.
