Artist description An original imrovisational psychedelic/folk/blues/jazz/rock band featuring an amplified oboe processed through various effects pedals, and featuring many of the best musicians of the Portland, Maine area. Hoboe always has a mixed assortment of musicians and has never been the same band twice.

Artist History Conceived in 1999 byZen Ben Meiklejohn and Doug Emery as an outlet for experimental expressions of oboe merged into a rock and roll setting, and to promote the themes of travel (especially by train!), work, and making it with barely any cash-- hobo themes!
