Artist description
For over two decades, D.O.A. has spread the fire and gospel of Punk Rock worldwide. D.O.A. took the term "Hardcore" and made it their own as it applies to music. Savage and brutal lyrics and music attacking everything from politics, society and hockey, D.O.A. has truely circled the globe many times cutting a wide swath and paving the path that many would later follow. Standing shoulder to shoulder with contemporaries Black Flag, The Dead Kennedy's, The Circle Jerks etc, D.O.A. has become recognized as a true progenitor of punkrock, and the Godfather of Canadian punk rock. |
