Artist History
Brookes strong clear vocals, Kerrys thumping bass lines, Lukes driving guitars, and Denniss catchy drum hooks, have combined elements to come together to set this quartet in a punk rock category of its own. The band set their best performance yet at a Sold Out show in Miami, in which they opened up for MCA recording artist New Found Glory on December 23, 2000.
In the summer of 2001 Damsel decided it was time to head into the studio to record their debut full-length release. Funding the release by themselves, they decided to record with the State of Floridas best, Joe Williams, who has recorded such acts as: Further Seems Forever, Glasseater, Dashboard Confessional and many more. The debut release titled The Pick Up Line is set to be released 11/21/01. A month later the lady and gentlemen closed out the local stage at the Miami Vans Warped Tour. The band has also had the privilege to share the stage with other artists such as: Sum-41, Unwritten Law, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Pulley, the Specials, the Rocking Horse Winner, The Vacant Andy's, Anchorman, Glasseater, the Unsung Zeros, Brand New,Digger, Five Cent Wish, Blindsyde, Neptune 66, the Supervillans, the Blinking Underdogs, the Know How, Nifkin and many more to come.
