Artist History
Charlie Gracie was on the Cameo Parkway label duringthe late 1950s. He sold 3,000,000 records in 1957 including the hits Butterfly, Fabulous, and 99 ways. His hit Butterfly knocked Elvis's Hound Dog out of the number one spot. He appeared on the Ed Sullivan show and other top tv shows and movies. He has never stopped performing and now has a new Cd comming out on the new Lanark Records label. He has toured with Van Morrison, he has been covered by Paul McCartney, and has been sighted as in influence by George Harrison and Eric Clapton.
