Artist description 1. How old are you guys?We are both 14 years of age. James turns 15 in July and Nick turns 15 in June.2. Who or what inspired you to start writing your own material?We played Grinspoon covers originally, but soon got sick of it and felt that we wanted to go somewhere. Naturally, our music was mostly inspired by Grinspoon at the time. As we matured and wrote more songs, we started to break away from that origin, and discover our own sound. Lyrical inspiration mostly comes from the Rage Against The Machine or The Living End. We aim for the same kind of angle, using concepts we stumble accross.3. Your Bio says James plays Guitar and Nick plays Bass. Who is your drummer? Drums were created by a Roland JV 30 Keyboard, driven by Wincake software on a laptop PC. James programs the drums at the moment. Stay tuned for late breaking news on a real drummer.4. So what are you trying to with your music at the moment?We hope to get as many people as possible to hear it. We also hope to play many gigs this year for exposure and experience. In between these experiences, we will try and write more crankin RAWK music.

Artist History Biography The two geniuses that vito the decsicion making process of Agent Pecan (a name taken from a much respected pie sniper), met through a mutual friend at a bowling alley. It was a bowling party. They haven't ever been back since. James Love (vocals and guitar) and Nicholas Wilson Alexander (bass and...backing vocals) jammed and jammed and played songs which they didn't write. Eventually they decided to get a name and start to do something. Ironically, this didn't include giving up music. After a while, when they started to break away from their influences and discover their own sound, the song writing really started to develop. James and Nick started to realise where they wanted to go and what they wanted to do. From this new vantage point, their songs could be assesed and the whole Agent Pecan 'thing' could be explained. Agent Pecan was shaping up as, as what 'musicians' would describe it, a 'rawk machine'. The music, fast and pounding, coplimented with unindulgent, unapologetic lyrics and blistering guitar solos. Pecan make no claim for their music. They want straight ahead rock, influenced by their favourite bands, for which they they make no apology, are completely contemporary. Differing song themes and sounds are delivered with intensity and to an acceptable extent rawness.
