Artist description i try to cover every aspect of music, i really never make the same album twice. i try to change musical styles with every album. my firstalbum "children of evil" was a mostly new wave album with some goth,grunge, and industrial elements thrown in. my second album "diskofeva" is the definitive dancealbum that has a hidden, actually very serious and cynical message, despite itsshallow exterior. my third album "final repose" is very much the most heavily gothic album of them all.it has only one dance track and ends with the agressive and demented "i wanna kill myself". "Christworld" is a blend of hard driven, industrial metal and gothic quiet misery and there is one new wave "The Cure"-esque song, "Every Train Wreck is Beautiful, I Guess". My new album to be released in late 2002-early 2003, titled "Show Jesus Your Titties" will be very fresh and a lot more of a fun "over the top" album. Possibly drawing heavy influence from 80's hair metal such as "Poison", "Motley Crue", and "Guns and Roses", but that is not a definite as recording has yet to begin as of this date, but will start soon.

Artist History thomas christ first started in the fall of 1998 with the band "the s+m suicide factory", a band i was in with 3 other guys, but dueto lack of practice and a lack of united overall vision, i decided to take my songs and do it myself. it was around that time that i started listening to 80's new wave and wrote 9 songs of my own. these songs would be immortalized forever as "children of evil".around the same time as "children" was released, the tragedy of columbine high school came to a head. due to the violent tonesof some of my lyrics, school officials at the catholic high school i attended were forced to act out against my album. this resulted in one of the biggest controversies in U.S. history. freedom of speech and other basic rights were in jeopardy in a way neverbefore seen. when all was said and done, several parents were contacted by way of nasty school memos and countless numbers of thomaschrist albums were ripped from fans hands by a tyrannical high school government.but that was only the beginning of the thomas christ story. a few months later i was back in the studio againrecording "diskofeva", inspired by my life with the thrill kill kult's disco inspired dance numbers. thethird thomas christ album "final repose" was soon to follow with a healthy dose of gothic misery.
