Press Reviews
Michelle Sheets' words are like a laughing cross-between Maggie Estep's drawl and Leonard Cohen's Darth Vader yarning; in fact, the music's arrangements have the same doomed sensibility to Cohen's 80's work, with a dash of "Strawberry Fields Forever"'s sneaky bridge. Speaking of, the backmasking sounds like killer whales moaning in the deep, and the weird low-end blurps accent it perfectly (is that a bowed double-bass?). The ukelele-sounding plucks and the rebirth synths bounce off eachother and the walls like a restless feedback loop, or an annoying neighbor that keeps troubling you for a cup of sugar. - Roughly Enforcing NostalgiaI read your artist description about your working method and it is totally original and interesting - and philosophical also. and i can hear it in your tune. this is electronic art. - Sulkman, From Helsinki |
