Artist History The Nul'n'Void was formed way back in 1988, in a ninth grade classroom. The original idea to form a band was Deep's and Rajat's. The band's original lineup lasted only a few months. Over the next four years, they became representative of the high school music scene in Calcutta, representing La Martiniere for Boys at the inter-school level, and also performing on their own, until college beckoned and the boys went their separate ways. All the music played during this time comprised of popular cover tunes, ranging from Dire Straits, The Beatles, U2 and Bon Jovi. When I was in Calcutta during winter'93, The Nul'n'Void made a half-hearted attempt at writing our own music. Swarna had put together some lyrics at that point, but it wasn't until this past summer that they were able to fulfill their ambitions.
