    Artist History
in the begining, there was nothing. then came fashion nihilism, and there was even less of a thing. krrap, bartek and waste were somehow working in a mcdonald's in london back in 1986... music came naturally from all the spilled bigmac sauce and wasted pickles. very much inspired by einsturzende neubauten and skinny puppy, they held pointless practices in waste's basement, provoking much panic in the neighborhood. the kids weren't alright, they were downright noisy and screaming most of the evenings, with the occasionnal fight and alcohol abuse and all. nothing would have come out of this void if there wasn't for bartek's sister, movit, who became furiously in love with both krrap and waste at the same time. all in all, it was pure chaos until she left with a job at nortel networks. she also left the friends torn apart and the brother quite furious. by that time, they were hanging around snvl, a drummer from medicine hat, canada. he was neil young's best friend at the time, and some say he was also his pusher, but you must doubt about that. anyway, there were making a great deal of noise again, holed up in a tiny apartement near a restaurant and definitely dropping all beliefs in life. there were by then rumors about these nihilists, and many tried to run them down, because they were so strange and always dressed in black. out of this mess came in 1991 the first album teckno trash. nobody is quite sure about the real origin of this recording. the usual crap was : ex nihilo nihil, but then the joke became twisted and they stuck to ex nihilo, fashion nihilism. they were in the studio for about seventeen continuous hours, and consumed four pizzas, twenty-nine heineken and about 4 grams of hasch in the process. the album was remixed by their friend norm, who did an incredible job. by then, movit was back again in the picture... but, this time, loaded with the money she was honestly earning at nortel networks, she helped them to figure out who they were and the aftermath is just pure history... .. fashion nihilim is over, by now... but you can still appreciate the total void of their talent on the 5 lps they left behind.
