Artist History
As a recording artist, Bliss Pellet consitsts of one member: Jaybill McCarthy. When Jaybill got laid off from his job as CTO of a dotcom ad agency, he decided to get back into music, something he hadn't really done since high school. He bought the cheapest guitar he could find and started playing again. Within a few weeks, he'd plugged his RP100 into the back of his computer, and the rest is history. "I just up and decided that I was a rock star looking for a day job. Music has always been important to me. I just decided to get serious about it." says Jaybill. His first effort, a collection of four songs called "Rember Your Location" was recorded at Jaybill's New York apartment in less than a month using only one guitar, an RP100, a PC with Acid/SoundForge and one microphone. Jaybill is always seeking collaboration with other musicians of like mind. Jaybill is currently employed by a Manhattan-based book publisher where he works as a software developer. |
