Billy Marquis never learned the Blues, Billy Marquis earned the blues.Billy still lives in the Delta because no matter where else Billy might go, the Delta would follow. A hot, steamy Delta that never lets you forget what the Blues is about. Pain. Sorrow. Misery. The kind of misery that lies deep in a man's soul, in his blood and in his bones and never, NEVER lets him rest. The deep down wrenching blues that can only lead to death, destruction, or the most gut-wrenching, deep cleansing, soul purifying music this side of the grave.That's the blues that Billy Marquis plays. The blues is so deep inside Billy that it's as much a part of him as his skin. He doesn't just play a guitar, either.
