Artist History
The Grove grew out of eclectic drummer Noah Lehrman's experimental musical collaborations while attending Brown University, where he was first introduced to Israeli guitarist Kiam Yzraely's songwriting from afar. After cutting his teeth with The Grove in performances at such hot New York City venues as Arlene Grocery and the Lion's Den, as well as onsite at the Philadelphia Music Conference 2000, Noah and the band were joined by Kiam upon his arrival in New York. Together with fellow Israeli Tal Saphir's thick basslines and a rich helping of Pat Firth's dynamic keys, organ, and piano, The Grove has become a familiar favorite at New York's world-renowned Wetlands Preserve, jam music's Northeast home. |
