    Artist History
STEREOTYPERIDER formed in October of 1999 after the break-up of two veteran Arizona bands. Two members from each band decided to start something new, something different and went on to record their landmark EP Fair Weather Fan. Since its release in 99, Stereotyperider has broadened it fan base through consistent touring and a live show that has been deemed "unrivaled". In just over 2 years together STEREOTYPERIDER has completed three nation-wide tours and played over 150 live shows in over 35 states. Now, with their release of their first full length album 'Same Chords, Same Songs, Same Six Strings', Stereotyperider hopes to make it to a town near you really soon.

    Press Reviews
"These guys play really interesting stuff with elements of punk, harcore and emo, without the limitations of those styles. The music is upbeat and driving for the most part. The vocals are melodic and sometimes yelled. The lyrics are pretty cool too. You won't feel dumb singing along. And the first song deserves to be on everyone's mix tapes.-Punk Plane Magazine-(NS)"I had never heard of this band before and I'm happy I now have. Stereotyperider are an amazing four-piece band from Phoenix Arizona. Their sound relies heavily on super melodies and awesome tempo changes and a mix of powerful rock and punk energy. The vocals are great, the recording quality is excellent and the music is even better. Using creative guitar parts, pounding drums that are all overthe place, and deep bass lines, I was hooked the first time I listened to this seven song CD release."-Impact Music Press/Reviews" This CD has great sound. The guitars ring out and bleed, blurring the edges of the songs. The rhythm section seems to be bent on revolution and there are some moments where the perfect match of vocal harmonies and guitar slashes prove potent. These folks sound like a pop punk band that got kicked around a couple of times too many, so that now they are a bit tougher sound that is bittersweet vs. just plain sweet."
