Artist History
Shelflyfe is a band that had its early start in 2000. The band is: Gustavus Gricius on vocals, James Sahrle on bass, and Andrew Kompanijec on guitars. Their live show has been applauded by many and this is due to the fact that the band has played shows all over the Northeast, building a fan base in their home state of New York, as well as Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Vermont. They have poured their hearts into a strong schedule as well as a never-ending writing process. They recently recorded a new 3-song demo with producer Ben Schigel (whom you may know as the singer of Immortal Records artist Sw1tched and who has also produced Universal Records artist Erase the Grey and Roadrunner Records Chimaira) |

Press Reviews
The band has been described as having -an incredible professional sound which mixes a collage of power-pop hooks and melodies with crashing guitars- [Tom Schrader] and -flowing up and down with melodic currents and vocals that touch the deepest part of a broken heart with styles similar to the likes of Deftones Incubus and Finch- [Scatterock Reviews] and also described as being -loaded with passionate vocals and hard-hitting rhythms the bands exploding sound is in-your-face to say the least- [Freetime magazine]
