Press Reviews Greetings! Yes, I have seen Ron's website. I believe thanks are due to you for helping him discover and get his songs on the web.He has quite a wide range of styles to choose from. My favorites are the sweet and tender melodic sounds. When we were teens, he would play and sing his songs for me. Some are so tender, tears would flow. He'd watch to see if the songs he'd written evoked emotion. Sometimes I'd weep and wish I had better control of my hearts' emotions. I knew the story behind the song, and it made me sad to know his heart had ached. He would say: "If a song doesn't make You cry, then it isn't any good. It has to make the listener feel the emotion or it is just noise." Some of his songs are funny too, and some are just so far out! But he has a good ear for what is "commercial". There is an awesome song Ronnie arranged and recorded,called The Tree. I have always thought if that song ever gets in sight of someone who is intrested in publishing Christian contemporary music, it will take off like a wild fire! It is a gorgeous song! I would guess it was written 30+ years ago! It is a most remarkable work. Nothing prejudiced about that is it? :D I don't know what Ron and I will work on, he is usually so busy with his own musical endeavors. One time, we were goofing off and made up an awful tune (you know how some "music" can sometimes sound off and flat at the same time? The kind of song where even the dog died). The song is one done in jest, about throwing trash, or the way bad experiences make you feel, away. It is a non-sense song with a purpose. Throw that trash away! This is a new day. Ha! Sometimes Mom joins in with her alto harmony and we sing the most "trashy sounding off key song" as we clean up after ourselves. We can hardly stand to listen to ourselves moan and groan as we "sang that song" but it is all in fun. I'm going on too much about silly things. Sorry about that. I haven't seen my parents and brother in over a year. Guess I'm a bit excited. I believe the song "Jesus Is Coming" is just about ready to put in the mail to you. If I get a chance this week-end I'd like to hear what Ron thinks about how it sounds. It is an upbeat song, and I want to be sure the delivery is believable.
