Press Reviews
'From the moment this record begins it has a very accomplished feel. It's a heartfelt ballad with some lovely bontempi style keyboards. A gorgeous repetitive piano motif just adds the final gloss to a wonderful release.' Single of the Month, Record Collector January 2000. 'Downbeat, sparse and resolutely uncommercial it edges near Blur standards of mmisery, but in a strangely comforting Smithsesque sort of way. The fragile stroking guitar chords are quiveringly beautiful, the singing achingly melancholic and the shifting rythmn impossible to put your finger on before it slips from your grasp'. The Times |
