Artist History
There is a musical madman lurking in the streets of Seattle, Washington. He is a diabolical music chemist specializing in West Coast hip-hop & hardcore beats who goes by the alias of Mr. D-Sane. KUBE 93 FM's "Future Flavors" show host Tony B calls this production genius "one of the most innovative & prolific producers in the Northwest. He has produced the most requested Northwest music featured on our station and if you're looking for tight production, D-Sane is the man to talk to."
The name might be new to you, but Mr. D-Sane is far from a rookie in the music game. He has been into music since a young age and began crafting musical masterpieces at the age of 16. He attended Shoreline Community College's award-winning audio engineering program and was even offered a position as an instructor for the Hip-Hop Drum Programming course while still enrolled as a student. He has been producing for Seattle area hip-hop artists for over a decade and was recently hailed as being "one of the top 3 producers in Seattle" by Drea & DJ Supa Sam from KUBE 93 FM, Seattle's largest radio station. Along with being the full-time in-house producer for Street Level Records (www.streetlevelrecords.com), Mr. D-Sane is also the CEO, a featured lyricist and does a majority of the graphic design for the label.
Mr. D-Sane has produced and independently released 6 full-length albums to date, with 3 more scheduled for release this year along with scores of song production credits appearing on projects worldwide. Most recently, he broke from the norm by shaking the "gangsta rap" reputation he had received from earlier SLR releases like F.T.S. (www.mp3.com/FTS), I.K. (www.mp3.com/IndependentKash), and Syko (www.mp3.com/Syko) by surprising fans with his musical versatility on the latest SLR release from Byrdie entitled "Poetic Epidemic" (www.mp3.com/Byrdie). "Poetic Epidemic" features the hit single "Player's Policy Pt. 2" which has received rotation from Northwest radio giants KUBE 93 FM & Jammin' 95 FM in Portland, Oregon and can be heard almost any night of the week in Seattle clubs. D-Sane is also working on numerous projects with Bay Area artists including Brotha Lynch Hung, C-Bo, Killa Tay, Messy Marv and many others.
SLR & Mr. D-Sane have also invaded cyber-space by capturing the top spots of the West Coast Charts on Mp3.com and holding onto them consistently for almost 2 years straight. This period of dominance has resulted in over 315,000 combined plays and downloads. |

Additional Info
DATA TRANSFER: Most of these beats were made strictly on the Korg Triton, although there are several that have samples also. If you have access to a Triton, then the simplest method is to e-mail the Triton MIDI file to the purchaser. I have done this before and it works great. The file can also be mailed using the postal service. The only other method available is a well mixed stereo .WAV file or separated .WAV files on CD mailed via the postal service. Please allow 10 business days for .WAV files. |
