It began as an experimental project with the intent to set aside the formalities of radio and the record industries templates for mass-produced sounds. What it turned into has shattered all expectations. Based out of Arlington, Virgina (a stone throw away from funk-central Washington D.C. the go-go capitol of the world) 5 musicians that have been deeply routed in teh local music scene for over ten years came together to for a project that has a diverse spectrum of musical influences and styles.With all these ingredients Lamont delivers a dance oriented, crowd pleasing vibe that incorporates Jazz, Funk, Disco, Electronica, and a hint of Latin.
