Artist History
D R E A M D A Z E began in late 2000 with an accidental discovery of some cool software from Sonic Foundry. After an all-nighter playing with the software, one thing led to another and D R E A M D A Z E was born. D R E A M D A Z E is dedicated to furthering rave culture through the production and distribution of (hopefully) cool, cutting-edge music. D R E A M D A Z E is influenced by the art of the Surrealist and Dada movements, the authors of Weimar Germany and the poetry of the Beats circa-1950. D R E A M D A Z E's musical compositon method is DIRECTLY influenced by the "collage" creative process of William S. Burroughs. |

Press Reviews
Review of 'Brevity' at http://djsky.pngusa.net/dreamdaze.html:
"This track has a gorgeous atmosphere, laid back beats accompany a collection of interesting and well picked sounds which deliver an enjoyable sonic experience. At no time does anything seem out of place which is a testament to the arrangement skills on display. All I would criticise is the overall production, just a bit of work to tighten up the sound and this one would be in my collection. Overall a very well put together example of ambience. 9/10."

Review of several tracks at http://www.randomartist.com/reviews.php?id=403:
"DREAMDAZE combines a lot of diverse organic elements into the mix. Brevity, for example, sounds mostly live with some great ambient samples mixed against tribal beats. Face, scratches and brushes around a walking keyboard bass in a most unusual way adding in some nice textured pads. Good sound track material, that. Anthracite is probably my favorite track. Nice use of bass and drum loops balanced with cool breaks. For electronica that continues to suprise and please, I recommend sampling DREAMDAZE's entire playlist."
