Artist History
It started in the summer of 1997.
Three youths picked up some half-broken instruments, and began a small suburban punk rock band.
It was Hugh HOSTiLe who had the idea in mind to start the band, after another local band "Frost Kit" had broken up.
In his mind he had plans for this band, and big plans they were.
He asked the bassist of "Frost Kit" to play drums for his band, and the guitarist from "Frost Kit" to be his singer.
After many months of practice, we played our first show.
That show was poof that even though we had no talent at the time, we wouldn't give up on getting better.
So Hugh HOSTiLe asked Jay or Mt.MoYa to play guitar also for him. He agreed.
Looking for one more person to screech along with the new found band, he found Brandon, who was eager to step up to the challenge.
With this new line-up there's no telling what these punks have in store for the world.
And then Mt Moya had to move away. Leaving guitar duties to Brandon.ANTI-POPULAR lives on |
