Artist description i have gotten a surprisingly large response to this project, so here is some statement of purpose. this LOW-VOLUME project was created for apartment-dwellers. [we] apartment-dwellers are often troubled by unwanted sounds, from other apartment dwellers, lawn maintenence people, and so forth. i wanted to create a "soundfield" that would invite these outside sounds in, and incorporate them into a listening experience, as opposed to these outside sounds being just an unwanted intrusion. i have found that by playing these sounds at maximum volume, and then sitting/laying down in another room, allows me to relax, and even sleep, when there are many noisy people around, outside. it [ambidustrial] goes great with any sounds coming through the walls, other people's music and kitchen sounds, especially. +++ thank you for listening.-durtro +++ see my more visible noize at + http://www.mp3.com/durtro +
