Artist History
I played bass for the polecats for like a week when I moved to southlake, since then I jammed with Mike heiken, then picked up rick pitterle, that turned into My Favorite Cheerleader, which turned into just m.f.c. which included three singers throughout it's history and has since turned into a latin jazz band over the summers, after going through two years of name changes, website remakes, and personal rearranging, I split on good terms and started "Dreading August" with a friend I met my senior year, Ryan Wilhelm - but we needed more vocal talent than I had alone, so I called up the first singer for the M.F.C., Ben Jordan - and for the three months "Dreading August" existed, if you ever got to hear us jam... it was unfreakingbelievable some of the songs we would put together, we'd even look at each other sometimes in awe of what we just played... but times change, I got into college, Ryan split from Ben, and Ben is with Madison and Ryan has his own project in the works... and this is what remains of Chris Tyrrell and dreading august... it could be better, it could be dreading august |
