Artist History
Formed in 1994. Gallina Negra have participated in several cultural events, as the 3rd and 4th National University Recording and Musical Festival in the unam; the Tlaxcala Fairy in 1998; La Flor más bella del ejido Festival in Xochimilco; Cultural Week in Metepec, Mexico, and also played in concerts for Colleges and Universities like the UNAM, Cultural halls and others. In the other hand, they have played in the University Stadium Mexico ?68, in the Orient Jail Mexico City, the Children Jail in Queretaro City, and in the Bartolomé de Medina Theatre in Hidalgo, Mex. In other hand they have also played in spectacle clubs like Fugazzi in Puebla, Café Caribe, La Mancha, Rockotitlán, La Diabla and Babel on Mexico City. On September 2000, they wer e invited to open the italian progressive legend?s concert: Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, concert in which their aestetics and performance was strongly celebrated by the progressive public. Their most recent production is named De flora / Fauna, that includes some of their favorite songs as La señorita and La tortuga, themes than have been performed on Orbita and Education Radio stations. | |
