Artist description
"Jammin'" JD Dohnal is a versatile songwriter who writes in several genres including rock, pop, adult contemporary, and country. Since moving from Minneapolis to Nashville in 1998 his primary songwriting focus has been on country. JD has been featured on two CD's put out by the Minnesota Association of Songwriters showcasing some of the state's top writers. He's a member of The Songwriter's Guild of America, Nashville Songwriter's Association International, and ASCAP. Jammin' JD puts on one hell of a show when he's playing guitar or bass with various bands around Nashville. Currently you can see him performing every weekend throughout middle Tennessee with the ultimate party band "Mister Happy". He takes his music very seriously, but NOT himself (i.e. see "images" link:) He also moonlights as a Chippendale's dancer and enjoys knitting scarfs for the homeless in his spare time. |
