Artist description
Hollow Voices, Profane Oath's soon-to-be released concept album describes the delusions of a schizophrenic man through imprisonment, torture, retalliation and finally a tragic suicide. The instrumentation is complex, with frequent time changes, reflecting the mood of the lyrics which are sparse but intense and carefully placed. More clips will be uploaded as they are recorded. |

Artist History
In 1994 guitarist Brandon Durfey and drummer Scott Kiester formed "Legalize Freedom" and in late 94/95 recorded a metal album entitled "Nothing", while playing various veunes in Salt Lake City. They continued writing songs, and after several incarnations of this group, bassist Billy Johnson and guitarist Spencer Morgan were recruited and the band's sound continued moving in a progressive- rock direction, while maintaining its metal groundwork. This group was named Profane Oath, and after over a year of intense writing, club appearances and studio sessions, Profane Oath has become known as Salt Lake City's premiere progressive metal band. |
