This is the band who has been compared to bands like: Black sabbath, Ozzy, Alice in chains, Pantera, Sound garden ect.Mix those bands together, and you'll get a glimpse of what Live Elephant is!The band got together 1993 in the city of Umeå, far up in the northern parts of Sweden.They started to play at the local clubs, in order to finance their 1st album "Skin N' Bone", which they started to record in May -95.It was ready for release in april -96.One of the lergest newspapers in Sweden "Aftonbladet", covered the release." -This is the new sound... Live Elephant leads the world into new dimensions of Hardrock... They should go for the world!".They were special guests on Deep Purples world tour, in Sweden, Umeå -96.And also with John Norum for his Swedish tour in -97 and -99.They released their second album "Masterhead" in march -00.A big release party was held in Umeå together with John Norums latest album release "Slip into tomorrow".The band has done numerous gigs all over Sweden and their reputation as a wery good live act has rechead every corner of the country. |
