Artist description
Lisa fronted a cover band for 5 years in OKC, but has begun exploring her abilities to perform original material. Playing with various bands & musicians on the West Coast & down south, she has shared the stage with Kaz Murphy, Robert Earl Keen, James Bullard, and Gary Clark Jr. She's performed at Ghengis Cohen, the Roxy, and many cafes in between. Her music is a hobby, but a very important one. Any passionate musician knows--you can't just close the door on your music. It is forever a part of you. Lisa may not ever decide to pursue music as a profession...but the songs will always continue pouring out.
Music is inspiration; no matter what the venue or capacity, it's important to her. "If the music dies, the soul dies with it..." That is why getting out to hear live music--be it a sophisticated urban area, or a rural farming community--is such a beneficial activity. So go out & hear some good music!! ***If you are interested in booking info, write to: lisacurl@hotmail.com |
