Artist description
Karl Marks Experience is the recording project of one Karl Carpenter a London based songwriter.They/He try to recreate sounds of older days when Rod Stewart made great folk/Rock influanced albums and Ronnie Lane was not far behind either. They take in a a number of musicalc styles that incorporate their many influences. The best description of the music is that it is happy feeling of resignation to the world that we live in. |

Artist History
Karl Marks is the onetime nickname of Karl Carpenter, who has been in many bands, most noteabley a band called "Faithless" who played the Marquee when it was based in Wardour Street in London, Oh how we wished we had copyrighted the name. Karl Marks Experience do not play live and are a recording project, but never say never if the right opportunity comes along. A new album is currently being recorded provisionally titled "May You Never Lose The Plot" |
