Artist History
Formed in October 1998, Eesifreek started out acoustically. They debuted in April 1999 to warm audience response, before an enforced break.Between June & September 1999, the band rehearsed hard & recorded their debut CD, "Two Days In September" at a local studio, before going onto the live scene in support of the release.Eesifreek got gigging hard and fast at the start of 2000.Taking in venues up and down the UK, focusing mainly on London & their local area, gaining themselves a loyal fanbase & critical acclaim, while at the same time developing their live show.By July 2000, the band's original drummer was offered a place in an instrumental band & decided to leave. He bowed out in late July, leaving the stool free for an energetic young replacement.Almost a month to the day, Eesifreek were back on stage. During their brief absence they had written new material & recorded three new tracks with the thought of a second CD.Deciding to shelve them & re-record when they had a bit of money to spend the quality up to scratch, Eesifreek are now in the process of recording the follow up.For further details & regular progress reports - visit http://www.eesifreek.com |
